Some rooms change the way you see the world

Reflections from the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in Amsterdam.

Some rooms change the way you see the world. 🌍

Last week I walked into the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in Amsterdam and left with a head full of ideas, a heart full of hope, and a long list of people I can't stop thinking about.

The future we are building

I heard Rob Jetten speak about the future we're building or the one we're risking if we don't move fast enough. I listened to Arnaud de la Tour, CEO and cofounder of Hello Tomorrow, open the summit with a reminder of why deep tech matters right now, not someday.

And then I spent time supporting the founders and CEOs backstage at the Pioneer Stage.

4,800 applications. 950 deep tech pioneers. 100 finalists from across the globe across healthcare, climate tech, food and agriculture, energy and biotech. 57% of founding teams led by women or women in executive leadership positions.

I watched founders pitch solutions to problems most people don't even know exist yet. Climate tech startups. Energy innovators. Scientists turned entrepreneurs. People building the kind of future that actually deserves to exist.

Making important ideas heard

One moment stayed with me: standing in front of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge infographic and realising that the Netherlands, our small, persistent, deeply thoughtful country, is in the top tier of nations represented here. That means something.

I came to this summit as a fractional marketing leader and communications strategist. I left reminded of why the work I do matters, because the most important ideas in the world mean nothing if no one can hear them.

The most important ideas in the world mean nothing if no one can hear them.

To every founder, pioneer, and dreamer I met in those rooms: thank you for making the future feel possible.

If you are a founder, CEO, or innovator who came out of Hello Tomorrow or a summit like this and you are ready to make the world hear what you are building, I would love to support you. Whether it is brand strategy, communications, digital marketing, or helping you find your voice as a leader, this is exactly the work I am here for. Let's connect.
