Accessibility statement.

Our commitment

Inclusion is not a feature — it is a baseline. mirelacuriman.com is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and to be usable with assistive technology including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control and high-contrast modes.

What is in place

  • Semantic HTML (one <main>, logical heading order, landmarks).
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Full keyboard navigation — no mouse required.
  • Colour contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text.
  • Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
  • Forms with clear labels, validation messages and error states.
  • No motion or auto-playing media that can trigger vestibular reactions; subtle animations only and respect prefers-reduced-motion where applicable.
  • Responsive layouts that work down to 320 px and up to 200% zoom.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content (e.g. the Cal.com booking widget, external articles) is not under direct control. If you encounter a barrier with any third-party content, email me and I will work with you to provide an accessible alternative — for example, completing a booking by email instead of the calendar widget.

Reporting a barrier

If something is not working for you — anywhere on the site, with any device or assistive technology — please write to mirelacuriman@proton.me with the page URL, the device/assistive tech you use, and a short description. You will receive a personal response within five working days, and a remediation plan as soon as possible.

Standards & review

This statement is reviewed at least annually and after any major redesign. The site is tested with axe DevTools, Lighthouse, manual keyboard runs and screen-reader passes (NVDA, VoiceOver).
